Companion Puppy

 Bill of Sale and Warrantee

1.      Buyer agrees to use the word Estaron in the puppy’s registered name, and such must appear on the puppy’s individual AKC/CKC registration papers, or buyer voids all warrantees.

 2. Puppy is of sound temperament and is in excellent health at time of sale.

 3. Puppy has been examined by a licensed veterinarian and has had first vaccinations and worming procedures.

 4. During the 48-hour period following sale,
Buyer is required to take the puppy to his/or her licensed Veterinarian within 48 hours of arrival. The puppy is guaranteed to be in good health and free of any communicable diseases at that time.

 5. The seller guarantees this puppy against OFA Moderate Hip Dysplasia until the puppy is 2-1/2 years old or has been bred. If this puppy is bred at any time, prior to OFA certification, all warrantees are VOID. On your puppy’s second birthday, take him/her to certified OFA vet, to have the hips x-rayed. Send the x-rays to the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, Inc. (OFA). They will rate your dog’s hips.
If your dog is positive for hip dysplasia, you will be compensated, with the following stipulations: Proof of claim must be supported by the OFA report, at the buyer’s expense. If proven, the buyer need NOT return the puppy, but must submit a certificate of spaying or neutering before compensation will be considered. Compensation shall consist of a replacement of the puppy with one of equal value. (If the original puppy is purchased as pet quality, it will be replaced with a puppy that is pet quality). OR ½ of the original cash price of pup.
Buyer agrees not to breed female puppies prior to 24 months. If the puppy is bred prior to receiving OFA certification the seller will not warrant the hips. Seller warrants the hips to OFA standards. Hips are warranted to be Excellent, Good, or Fair. This warranty expires when the puppy turns 30 months old. In the event that the buyer's Vet suspects a problem with the hips, x-rays are to be sent to OFA for evaluation. If the x-rays are deemed questionable due to x-ray film quality or positioning of the dog additional x-rays may be required at the expense of the buyer.

6. Seller warrants the puppy until 30 months to be free of genetic disease that would cause severe disability or death. If pup is conclusively found by two vets, one of buyers choosing and one of sellers choosing, to have a genetic disease that will cause a severe disability or death, seller will replace pup of equal value OR ½ the original price of pup.

7. Purchase of puppy is understood to be a commitment to this dog for its entire life. The buyer agrees to contact the seller if for any reason, including divorce, separation or death, the buyer can no longer keep this dog. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES is this dog to be placed in a humane society, rescue or animal shelter.

 7. Buyer agrees never to use an electronic fence or “shock” training collar or buyer voids all warrantees.

 8. No cash refunds will be made at any time except obedience, agility, conformation, or tracking title rebates, as noted below in No. 10.

 9. This warrantee is not transferable and applies to the original buyer and original puppy only.

 10. Puppy is entitled to an AKC Obedience, Agility, Conformation, Herding, Schutzhund or Tracking title rebate after earning a CD, CDX, AJP, AX, AXJ MJP, MX, MXJ, MACH, HC, TD, or TDX Title. The buyer must notify the seller with a duplicate title certificate for the seller to keep.
