The name Estaron and how it came about.

We had contemplated for years about a kennel name. It had to be something that would fit the German Shepherds we would produce; something that no one else had, and would mean the most to me personally. After much thought, we took two people that had impacted our lives the most: my grandmother and my father-in-law. These were two people that had taught me many important lessons in life and supported me in all my endeavors. They both stood for values, and had great qualities that I share. Unfortunately, they have both passed, but are with me every day of my life. I will be forever grateful for the gifts they gave me and all they taught me.

Thank you Esta and Ron. You will always be remembered. So it is their names together that make up my kennel name. I have faith that all my dogs will carry out their legacy, as will I. Standing for truth, commitment, and loyalty to this wonderful breed we call the German Shepherd Dog.

We discovered that Esta means "Star" and Ron means "Wise Ruler" in Roman. So Estaron means "Star of Wise Rulers."

We are expecting puppies in June!

We are located in Cape Cod, Mass. Estaron is a small, hobby kennel. Our breedings are occasional, but well-planned, to produce healthy German Shepherds with outstanding temperaments. We have been involved with the German Shepherd Dog for 30 years. Our dogs are shown in the AKC conformation and obedience rings. All parents are OFA certified.

Our dogs live in our home with us. They are NOT kennel dogs. All puppies are home-raised and well-socialized with our four children. Please look around, visit our dogs and share in our accomplishments.
